Development and Construction

In house CAD-CAM-constructions with DELCAM provide fast, economic and intelligent tool solutions. Consulting of our customers in all tool relevant questions before conversion, in order to develop the best tool package regarding economic and product-specific characteristics.

Measurement engineering

We are able to measure parts with the help of an ultra-modern three-dimensional-multisensor-coordinate-measuring machine with optic and tactile length- and radiuses-measurement. Thereby we have the possibilty to guarantee highest skills for measurement.

In collaboration with Erlangen university notably challenging parts can be tested under other periodic, documented circumstances (e.g. clamping cracking test) if it is requested.

Tool and mould construction

12 employees including trainees are employed in the mold construction area. Most modern machinery to guarantee highest quality in spite of short fabrication periods of the tools. About 40% of the tools are in-house productions and 60% are produced by external, long-time partners, which have proven within years of cooperation.

Assembly and refinement

Components mounting for assembly groups can be realized in a cost-effective way by highly qualified employees or personnel of the „Lebenshilfe“ a sheltered workshop, that resides in the same building as Wartenfelser GmbH & Co.KG.
Refining of parts like pad printig, metallisation (galvanic covering) and varnishing are executed by established, external partners.

Injection moulding

In the strongest-selling division, the injection moulding, 32 modern injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 12 to 220 tons, tie bar clearances up to 520 x 520 mm and a shot weight up to 600 grams are available to produce high-toned technical plastic parts. Our efficiency and thrift is achieved by a high standards of automation in production trough:

  • CNC-controlled linear-robots for part removal from moulding machine
  • Sprue removing robots
  • Rotary discs for packaging
  • Peripheral devices, like horizontal conveyor belts
  • ionisation-air-blowers
  • pneumatic dry-air drier
  • modern tempering-units
  • colour dispense system for Masterbatch

Many parts are produced with injected brazen or stainless steel insert nuts.
